Hi there! I’m Jayde, the creator behind Jaded Painted. I’m a self-taught woodworker and resin artist, approaching my 30s with a passion for crafting one-of-a-kind pieces. Before Jaded Painted took off, I worked as a qualified fashion designer for brands like Cotton On and Ghanda. I like to think that my background in fashion helped pave the way for this creative journey.

I first experimented with resin in late 2019 after a breakup, starting with a resin starter kit. Then, when COVID lockdowns hit, I had the time and focus to dive deeper into the craft, developing the skills that so many of you now love! Almost two years ago, I took the leap and left my full-time job to pursue Jaded Painted—and I haven’t looked back since.

I take immense pride in hand-cutting all my boards (no CNC machines here!), crafting resin waves with incredible detail and depth, and offering unique color combinations. While ocean-inspired blues remain a bestseller, my signature pink, mint, and beige palettes have become a favorite for those seeking something different.
